SXSW 2013 announced news about upcoming acts for this year's festival. Earlier today, the event's official page added f(x) to their line-up, further writing a full profile and article of the group.
f(x) was introduced as the atypical K-pop female group, strongly known for their electronic-pop sound and vibrant image. They were described as "confident, edgy and bright, known for executing more challenging dance moves and unconventional styles in their videos and onstage." A full list of their known tracks and awards were also included in the artists' page.
South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual festival covering films, music and technology, held across various venous across Austin, Texas. The music event of the festival will take place on March 12 to 17, with f(x)'s performance date still to be confirmed.
Last year, Korean artists such as Aziatix, Crying Nut, Galaxy Express, Yellow Monster and 3rd Line Butterfly were invited to perform for the event.
