The 2nd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards is preparing to be held at the Olympic Hall on February 13th and will be hosted by Brown Eyed Girls' Ga-in and composer/producer Joo Yeonghoon.
An official from the Gaon Chart revealed on the 30th that while Wonder Girls have been confirmed to attend the ceremony in February, the girl group will take the stage without Sunye, who recently got married on the 26th at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul.
Sunye will be focusing on her marriage life and taking a break from her music activities as part of the Wonder Girls. Meanwhile, the remaining Wonder Girls member will be pursuing solo activities.
Other idols who have been confirmed to attention the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards include Big Bang, Super Junior, TVXQ, Taetiseo, 2NE1 and T-ara.
The 2nd Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards is a ceremony that selects its winners based on aggregated data over the last year including record sales, digital music sales, most loved songs and etc.
The award show will be held on February 13th at the Olympic Hall in Seoul at 7PM KST.
