Soon-to-be bride at the age of 25 (intl. 24), Wonder Girls' Sunye will be officially ending her activities as Wonder Girls after her wedding conference. After announcing a shocking news back in November 2012, Wonder Girls Sunye is set to have her wedding for January 26th, at Lotte Hotel in Seoul at 10:30am.
On January 19th (KST), a representative of JYP Entertainment had said, "With Sunye's wedding coming up on January 26th, she will be holding a wedding conference and will finalize her activities as Wonder Girls after. We will be holding the conference 2 hours before the wedding ceremony starts. In addition to that, Sunye's fiance will not be attending the conference."
Wonder Girls' Sunye will not be holding any performances in-land as she is currently preparing for her wedding. After finishing their overseas activities last month, Sunye is now currently preparing for her wedding happening in a weeks time and the rest of the members are preparing for individual activities.
Meanwhile, on January 17th, Sunye left a touching message to her members through Super Junior's Kiss the Radio, when fellow members Yeeun and Yoobin were the special DJs for the day.
Leader Sunye who was listening to the radio program, had called Yeeun and Yoobin and left her thanks message to the girls and the members. She said, "Right now with the name of Wonder Girls and in the future with the name Wonder Girls, the time that we have spent together meaningfully will never break our name. Yoobin unnie, Yeeun, Hyerim, Sohee, as well as Sunmi, thank you for taking cherishing me and always cheering on for me without any changes or conditions. Even when I decided on the marriage and preparing for it,the most thankful people were you the members. No matter what happens, let's never change our (6 members) friendship."
After listening to Sunye's message, Yeeun had shown tears and congratulated Sunye again with Yoobin, wishing her a happy life and encouraging that the Wonder Girls members will always be there for her.
For Sunye's wedding, it has been said that the JYP artists will be singing at her wedding and Sunye's long-time friend, 2AM's Jokwon will be emceeing her big day.
