Former contestants on KBS’s “Top Band 2” who advanced all the way to the semi-finals, the rock band Transfixion has just released their new single, “Rock Star,” in addition to an energetic music video for the single.
Their new single features two tracks, “Rock Star” and a revised version of “La Bamba.” “La Bamba” may be familiar to the audience as it was performed in “Top Band 2” when the contestants were assigned to create unique covers of famous songs. As a cover of Ritchie Valen’s “La Bamba,” Transfixion’s version is a dynamic song that portrays the band’s powerful and distinctive energy.
Meanwhile, the music video for "Rock Star" features the members of Transfixion jamming out to the song in a truck donned with the energy drink's logo. With all the team members actively participating in the creation of the single, including the design of the album jacket and production of the song, “Rock Star” shows their devotion to becoming true rock stars.
