Popular actor So Jisub will soon be showcasing his rapping talents through Mnet's special project "Collabo One"!
"Collabo One" is a project that invites celebrities who are not singers to create music with professional musicians. The reason why Mnet decided to initiate "Collabo One" was because the station wanted to provide its viewers with a broader range of musical styles and to live out the station's motto that "Music Makes One."
So Jisub will be the first celebrity to participate in "Collabo One," and he will be releasing a rap album through this project. However, this will not be the first time that So Jisub has involved himself with music. The actor has already released a few rap singles under the name "G," including "Lonely Life" and "Foolish Love" in 2008 and "Pick Up Line" in 2011.
Some footage of So Jisub recording his songs for "Collabo One" have already been released through a preview for Mnet's show "Music Triangle." This show will show more detailed footage of So Jisub and his recording process for three consecutive weeks, starting on January 9th. So Jisub's full rap album will be released in late January.
The preview for "Music Triangle" has already heightened anticipation for So Jisub's rap album. His passion for music can also be felt through his active involvement in all aspects of the recording process.
