
JYP Entertainment surprised fans today by announcing their plans of debuting a new girl group next year.
On December 19th, JYP Entertainment announced that after Wonder Girls, miss A and 15&, they will be introducing a new girl group in the first half of next year. The said new group will have a total of six members, described to be outstanding in visuals and talent. It was also revealed that the agency is currently training two male group and a girl group through their enhanced training system.
JYP Entertainment emphasised that they do not have an exact date for the actual debut just yet. When asked about their trainee male idol group, 5Live, who appeared on YG Entertainment’s “WIN” and participated in “Pretty Man” OST, the agency revealed that nothing is confirmed just yet.
All trainees from all teams are currently diligently preparing for their debut.
JYP Entertainment is currently managing Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, 15&, Sunmi, Joo, JJ Project and Lim Jeonghee.
