SM Entertainment has been releasing video and photo teasers for its new pre-debut team, SMROOKIES.
So far, fans have been introduced to Jeno (13), Seulgi (19), Jaehyun (16), Irene (22), Lami (10), and Taeyong (18). The videos show us a glimpse of their personalities and even talents.
For instance, Irene's carefree video shows her wrapped in a flannel blanket, relaxing in an open field as the camera refocuses on her happy expression. Jeno's Self Cam video with Super Junior's Donghae reveals his entertaining personality as they do a circle of selcas and laugh about it. Seulgi's Christmas Carol video showcases her strong vocals and coolness despite the loud sound of traffic and cars behind her. Lami's video with Girls' Generation's Tiffany presents a very sweet and cute image as Tiffany helps her with her outfit, hair, and smiles while playing with Prince the dog. You can also get a sense of their dance skills with a video of Seulgi and Irene practicing a sensual chair dance, with background music by EXO's Lay.
Updated December 14, 2013: With another batch of images, Irene and Seulgi are seen posing for the cameras getting ready for the Christmas season, while the audience is teased with more pictures of Taeyong and Jaehyun. Meanwhile, we also have Lami with Girls' Generation's Tiffany and her cute puppy Prince. Meanwhile, on December 15th, the agency revealed another still photo of member Jeno, casually posing for a photo, as well as a picture for Taeyong.
By December 17, 2013, SM Entertainment revealed more members from its rookie team, unveiling Mark, Hansol, and Jisung and a video clip featuring SM's Rookie Boys rehearsing with Tony Testa
