YG Entertainment has confirmed that Gummy's exclusive contract in the agency has expired.
On July 9th, YG Entertainment revealed that Gummy's contract with the agency has expired while her contract with their Japanese counterpart is set to end soon as well. It was further stated that after ten years of working with the agency, Gummy may not renew her contract with the agency and is already holding meetings with other agencies.
YG Entertainment also revealed that despite Gummy's contract expiring, she is still considered to be part of the family, citing similarities withSe7en and Jinusean's case after ending ties with the agency. They are currently in discussion with Gummy and will support her final decision.
