Boyfriend member Jeongmin was recently admitted to the hospital to receive emergency surgery for acute appendicitis.
According to Starship Entertainment on June 14th, Jeongmin complained of abdominal pain during the group's schedule in Japan, and was sent to the hospital for an examination on the 13th. The tests diagnosed him with acute appendicitis and was transferred to a large hospital for an emergency surgery.
The agency continues to comment that Jeongmin will not be present on the 15th to follow his daily schedule, and he will be monitored post-surgery. Adjustment to his schedule will be made according to his health.
Meanwhile, Boyfriend released their first full-length Japanese album last month on the 29th titled "SEVENTH MISSION," and performed a total of four concerts, "Boyfriend Love Communication", in Tokyo and Osaka on June 1st and 2nd.
