Brown Eyed Soul has signed an exclusive contract to one of Japan's largest entertainment company, Avex Entertainment. On December 10th, it was revealed that Brown Eyed Soul recently signed with Avex Entertainment, the agency that will represent them as they enter the Japanese music market.
Brown Eyed Soul will be the first soul and R&B Korean group to sign with Avex Entertainment, who usually collaborates with pop acts such as BoA, TVXQ, 2NE1 and more. Some are now speculating that after a successful promotion of Korean Pop in the Japanese music market, Brown Eyed Soul will pave a different view to Korean music in the country.
Avex Entertainment revealed that it took two years to settle an agreement with the group, after monitoring their concerts and other activities. It was also stated that the activities will be slightly longer in the country and will be performance-oriented. It is still unclear as to when the group will release their first single, as the group is still holding their nationwide tour in South Korea.
